ROECK ARCHITECTS
The city of Innsbruck stipulated that a second escape staircase be built for the bed wing with physiotherapy on the top floor, in addition to the existing stairwell of the private clinic Sanatorium Chain Bridge of the Merciful Sisters. The owner decided to build a full-fledged and even staircase and therefore commissioned ROECK Architects from Innsbruck. The new part of the building was placed between the listed old building of the clinic and the annex. As a result of this intervention, all floors with different room heights can be reached via a staircase for the first time, which saves a lot of time when changing between floors. The staircase leads directly into the new entrance hall of the private hospital in Innsbruck.
