ROECK ARCHITECTS
The task was to modernize an existing building and to create small but nice living units for the employees of the Fröschl company. For this purpose, the former customs building of the Tyrolean district headquarters in Landeck was restored to its shell and restructured. New French balconies create significant added value for the 15 new residential units. Common lounges act as meeting points and strengthen the internal connection between the residents in the building.
For thermal and architectural reasons, the design relies on a new rear-ventilated wooden facade with different wooden slats. This diversity is also reflected in the design of the railings. A slender and filigree canopy delimits the building and acts as a final element.
For budgetary reasons, the interior design was entirely based on furniture from an international furniture store. Bright rooms are created for the employees of the Fröschl Landeck company.
