The task was to give the existing entrance hall of the Kettenbrücke sanatorium a new look on one side. On the other hand, additional space was required for patient admissions, doctors and the back office. The waiting area was placed in a quiet niche, the new information area is positioned in the two-storey hall, which is lit from above. The slightly twisted structure with different ceiling levels is calmed down by a suspended ceiling with integrated lighting and a uniform floor covering. The necessary room closures are dissolved in glass in order to achieve maximum transparency in addition to the necessary discretion.
