ROECK ARCHITECTS
The too small physiotherapy in the entrance floor of the sanatorium chain bridge Innsbruck had to be enlarged. This necessary space could not be created in the existing floor. Therefore, it was decided to place the new physiotherapy on the top floor of the bed wing, which is accessed by four elevators. A department with eleven individual therapy rooms, two large therapy rooms and a therapy pool with all the necessary ancillary rooms was created. For the main therapy room and the therapy pool, the roof was removed and a porch added. A light-flooded room with a view of the Inn and the Nordkette in Innsbruck was achieved. Materials that have already been used several times were used in the architectural facade design in order to ensure the most uniform architectural appearance possible.
