6020 INNSBRUCK
ROECK ARCHITECTS
The new operating room part with its own sterilization for the entire Innsbruck Kettenbrücke sanatorium was built practically on a green field. Four fully digitized operating theaters with an upstream holding area and a downstream recovery station are housed on one level. Two elevators bring the items to be sterilized from the unclean side through sterilization via the clean side back to the operating floor. The facade was structured vertically and tinted in twelve color nuances. The top floor serves as a terrace for the stations above with a wonderful view of the Seegrube in Innsbruck.
